A typed or spoken request is not approval. In the current reviewed flows, you see a proposal and confirm it in the app before execution is requested. This works only with Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) on an EVM network, not with native BTC.
Can I swap BTC to ETH across different networks?
Sometimes. A route across networks may be available through a provider such as LI.FI, depending on the exact assets, networks and amount. This page is not a promise that a route exists. If the app shows no route, the swap is not available at that moment.
What does a BTC to ETH swap cost?
The swap itself uses no ChainATM credits. Each message you send to the AI in chat uses 1 credit, and the credit packs are listed on the pricing page. ChainATM adds no fee or markup of its own. How do I convert BTC to ETH?

Does ChainATM hold my funds?
ChainATM does not operate an omnibus customer wallet or hold crypto on its own balance sheet. The default embedded wallet is provided by Privy. After you confirm a supported action, execution may use ChainATM's authenticated backend and Privy's wallet infrastructure, or request approval from a connected external wallet, depending on the route. A confirmation screen is not proof that every action is signed only on your device or universally gated by a passkey.
