# ChainATM vs PayBox

> PayBox is MoonPay's non-custodial payment vault, launched in July 2026. It connects an existing AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT and others — to a wallet and card credentials, so the assistant can prepare swaps, bridges, stablecoin transfers and merchant payments from a prompt. Keys are split with threshold cryptography and held in secure enclaves, and every action runs inside passkey-approved spending limits the user sets.

Availability depends on our on-ramp partners' supported regions. ChainATM is built by Noctra Labs UG (haftungsbeschränkt) in Trier, Germany, registered at Amtsgericht Wittlich under HRB 48033. The fiat on-ramp runs through Coinbase, with EUR purchases by SEPA, card and Apple Pay.
